The Chapel
This private chapel is a 17th
century addition. The Van Linge stained glass, dating from 1623, was added
to the east window in 1747. It depicts the Betrayal, the Flagellation,
the Bearing of the Cross and the Crucifixion. The woodwork is late 16th
century Flemish and 17th century Italian. The oak componate altar is Flemish
(c. 1600) and comprises five panels from the life of Christ.
The "Wroxton Chapel"
scene connects to scene 5: "The Entrance Hallway."
